South of France Region

The South of France offers a wealth of natural advantages – not least of which is a climate most winemakers around the world would give their first pressings for – and not coincidentally, its wines have steadily earned their place among France’s finest.

Indeed, more and more wine producers from elsewhere in France are looking to the South’s Languedoc region as the perfect place to experiment with new vineyard plantings and new winemaking methods.

The recent surge in popularity of Rosé has also helped focus attention on the excellent pinks produced in the Languedoc and elsewhere in the South.

In short, the South of France is a region to keep a close eye on. The winemaking potential here is almost limitless!
