The ‘Domaine de Montine’ is a family propety for three generations. Combinning modern techniques, tradition and Sustainable Viticulture, they offer you the best of their vineyard and of their know-how. The Grenache makes up their entire plantation on Grillon’s plateau with a rolled pebble’s soil.
The provision of organic fertilizer is strictly reserved to the plot of land concerned, and is done in a respectful ground/plant harmony. Tillage and grass covering are done one row out of two. Manual work on growing vines. High trellising (3 or 4 wires). Green harvest and leaf thinning depending on the vintage. They practice morning harvest.
Direct and soft pressing, natural racking, thermo-controlled fermentation (<18°C). No malolactic fermentation.
First scent reveals red berries smells, together with a citrus hint. Very expressive, she knows how to conquer us thanks to this nose delicacy. Its juicy mouth and its surprising redcurrant notes reveal a gentle and seducing personality.
